"The Anatomy of A Glitch" is an analog reproduction of a digital effect from the 1998 Japanese ‘The Ring’.
This film re-considers the digital construction of glitches in film, and speculates on what could be used to create one in real life.
Through the use of visual perspectives, ratios and chicken breasts - used to create the audio -, "The Anatomy Of A Glitch" embodies perfectly the immersing atmosphere of 'The Ring' and creates a terrifying optical illusion.
This analog rendition also allowed the viewer to discover the illusion comically by purposefully breaking the fourth wall.
